Dubai, United Arab Emirates, August 29, 2015 – Korea took on hosts UAE 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-16) at Men's U23 World Championship. Korea coach was happy to finish the first round with a win and clinch a second round berth to play Brazil tomorrow
Korea's Coach Hong Haechon: "I think we could have done better but I am satisfied with the results obtained of course. We wanted to do better but we still have two matches to play and prove that we can.United Arab Emirates team is a great team and we were happy to play against them."
Korea's Captain Son Taehun: "Our team isn't very well prepared. all my players did their roles in the game magnificently. We are not a hundred percent satisfied but as we still have two matches to play, we'll focus on them and do our best to win."
UAE Coach Morad Sennoun: "I would like to congratulate for the Korean team. I think that we are doing a great job in this championship, especially that this is our first time participating in such a game . We are getting experience time by time and as you know the Korean team is one of the best teams in the world . It is a really well-organized team and it is also one of the teams that follows different tactics in some matches.
UAE Captain Abdulla Alsuaidi: " Our goal in all the matches we played is to show our best and I thank that we are achieving the goal we set especially in the last match against Cuba."
" Today's match was not very good because we lost our concentration and especially that some of the players were tired. I am very happy for the Korean team because they won the first 3 sets directly without finding any obstacles, and as you see the Korean team is a well-organized team, so we had a good experience playing against them."
