Turkey coach Emanuele Zanini: We are satisfied about these three matches’ results and 9 points for sure. But about today’s game, I am not so satisfied. We were not so good in the first two sets especially in block and defence. But we played very well in the last set. We expect to show something more in our side. Now we go over and we are satisfied to create the opportunity to fight for the semis in next two matches against Russia and Brazil. It will be very difficult but to reach semifinals is an important goal for us. They are the favorite teams for the gold medal. We have to play with our 100%.

Turkey captain Burak Gungor: This was a hard game for us. We struggled a little bit in the second set but finished well. Now we have one day rest and after that we will play against two strongest team. We are ready for them.
