"We will meet Iran tomorrow with a new strategy," says Cuban coach

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, August 25, 2015 – Cuba notched a straight sets victory (25-20, 25-19, 25-17) over Egypt on the second day of the FIVB Men's U23 World Championship at "Al Nasr" hall on Tuesday.  Cuba coach thanked his players for the victory and promised to surprise Iran in day 3.

Cuba coach Rodolfo Sanchez:

”We played less technically compared with our match against Korea yesterday. My players applied good attacking strategy today because they succeeded to use well the defensive mistakes of the Egyptians. We will meet Iran tomorrow with a new strategy, but I will not mention now how we will meet them, but we will surprise them. "

Cuba Captain Ricardo Calvo

"We play every match to win and today we did it to continue our rhythm. I hope to continue this performance tomorrow against Iran.

Egypt coach Grzgorz Rys:

"I have to congratulate the Cubans for the victory because they did well today. We had again a lot of mistakes that cost us to lose in straight sets. We still need more matches to reach a good standard."

Egypt Captain Ahmed Shafik:

"The Cuban players are more experienced than us as they played many matches with the senior teams. The had strong attackers and we couldn't tolerate that."
