We are here to win the championship – Russia captain Egor Feoktistov

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, August 29, 2015 – Russia defeat Mexico 3-0 and finished atop in Pool B of the FIVB Men’s U23 World Championship at Al Ahli Club. Russia captain Egor Feoktistov underlined that they are here to win the championship.

Russia coach Mikhail Nikolaev: We have the opportunity to give rest to our strongest players today but our additional players are also very strong and they had the chance to play. For example, our second setter is two times champions of World and Europe. Now we are waiting for our opponent in the semifinal.

Russia captain Egor Feoktistov: This was an easy match for us because we were not under pressure. We are here to win the championship. We will do our absolutely best in the semifinal whoever we play. That is the reason why we are here.

Mexico coach Juan Roberto Vilches: We are in a learning process. We enjoyed playing against Russian team. We have a lot of thing to improve in the future. We are leaving Dubai with a lot of analyses.
