Team profile

Argentina have participated in the first ever FIVB Volleyball Men’s U23 World Championship in 2013. In the preliminary round the team defeated teams such as Tunisia, Dominican Republic, Egypt, and were defeated by Brazil and Bulgaria. Argentina finished in seventh place after defeating Tunisia in the next round. The 2013 team included standouts Ezequiel Palacios, Federico Franetovich, Pablo Kukartsev and Gustavo Vaca – all of whom are currently training with their senior men’s team. Argentina qualified to the 2015 edition after winning silver at the South American U22 Championship in Brazil in 2014. The team have been training hard and are ready to face this important world challenge.
